Overview
SN-242 is a mercaptan-modified chloroprene rubber characterized by its exceptional adhesive qualities and a notably high crystallization rate. This particular grade of polychloroprene is distinguished by a rapid crystallization process, enhanced cohesion, and commendable storage stability. It is soluble in toluene and various mixed solvents. Adhesive cements formulated using SN-242 are notable for their light color, high bonding strength, rapid grip development, and ease of application, while maintaining a long-lasting adhesion layer. Additionally, SN-242 exhibits excellent resistance to ozone, weathering, oils, chemical degradation, and fire. The material can be categorized into two variants: SN-242A and SN-242B.
