Overview
SN-242 is a chloroprene rubber that has been modified with mercaptan, characterized by its exceptional adhesive properties and a rapid crystallization rate. This particular grade of polychloroprene demonstrates enhanced crystallization speed, superior cohesiveness, and commendable storage stability. It can be solubilized in toluene or blended solvents. Adhesive cements formulated with SN-242 are noted for their light color, formidable bonding strength, quick-setting capabilities, and easy application, maintaining effective adhesion over extended periods. Furthermore, it exhibits robust resistance to ozone, environmental factors, oils, chemical deterioration, and fire. SN-242 is categorized into two variants: SN-242A and SN-242B.
